to Rethink the Future of Their
Brand and Digital Platform

Acknowledged by The New York Times as “the Internet’s highest honor” and widely considered
“the Oscars of the Internet,” The Webby Awards have cemented themselves as a tastemaker of
innovation. For more than two decades, they have remained the foremost authority on digital
excellence, recognizing the finest achievements across websites, mobile experiences, social
media, online videos, and advertisements.
As a curator of some of the most renowned work on
the Internet, they look to reflect the quality of the projects they showcase while furthering
their cultural influence. To that end, they’re teaming up with us to establish a new vision and
design language for their brand and digital platform.
“The Internet is culture. It not only
amplifies but also shapes society and our expectations,” says BASIC® creative director Erwin Hines.
“So, when The Webby Awards came to us to rethink their platform, we were excited about the partnership.
Going into it, our question is ‘How do you build a platform that truly exemplifies the best of the Internet?’”
